Monterey and Carmel-By-The-Sea
Anca Gheorghe and I spent a day in Monterey, CA and nearby Carmel-By-The-Sea. We started the day at Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey...eating a Lobster lunch at Old Fisherman's Grotto. After walking along the Monterey shoreline, we drove south to Carmel-By-The-Sea. We took a stroll along Carmel Beach, admiring multi-million dollar homes to our east, and waves crashing against rocks to our west. We then went window shopping through downtown Carmel. Admittedly, we were probably the poorest two people in the city, but we enjoyed the brief taste of luxury nonetheless.
