Mount Hood - Oregon Cascades

Carly Kovacik and myself made an attempt on Mount Hood during mid May. Unfortunately a storm system spread across the region, and we ended up in zero visibility conditions just before reaching the Hogs Back at 10,000 feet. We had to turn back and pick a route back down the mountain, which was difficult given the ground and the sky merged into one smear of grayish-white. We will make another attempt someday...maybe deeper into the summer this year.

Google map of Mount Hood is here.
